Today I am registered with a site name. I am asked to wait for 48hrs. After that what are all the procedures I should adopt. Please explain step by step basis.

Typically, web hosting package if ordered with a new domain registration will immediately be Active. Name servers changes if done on existing domains will take 12- 24 hrs. for DNS propagation to get completed.
